Private lessons that work!

A cute, black and tan puppy sitting on green grass, wearing a pink harness, with a leash attached, in a backyard with grass, leaves, and some backyard items in the background.

Our one-on-one private lessons go beyond basic obedience—they’re about building a stronger relationship between you and your dog. We don’t just train your dog; we coach you to become a more confident, consistent leader who understands how to communicate clearly and effectively.

Whether you're working through leash reactivity, overexcitement around people or dogs, or simply want a dog who listens better at home and in public, we tailor each session to your goals. You'll gain the tools, structure, and hands-on support needed to create lasting behavior change.

We meet you where you're at—literally and figuratively. Sessions can take place in your home, in your neighborhood, or out in real-world environments where your dog needs the most help.

Group classes provide a positive and encouraging setting where dogs and their owners can practice essential skills amid real-life distractions and interactions with other dogs. These classes enhance socialization, boost confidence, and offer valuable hands-on experience that perfectly complements the personalized focus of private lessons. By combining group classes with private training, you create the ideal opportunity for your dog to generalize good behavior across different environments, speeding up progress and deepening your connection.

Our group classes are designed for clients currently enrolled in or who have completed our Private Lesson, Day Camp, and Homeschool Programs. We also offer a specialized Leash Work Group class for clients who have purchased a group walk package.

What sets P&B Apart?

You may have heard our approach called “lifestyle training,” and that’s exactly what makes us unique. We don’t just focus on managing behaviors as they arise — we teach your dog how to truly live with you, understand you, and connect with you every moment. Our goal is to build a relationship grounded in clear structure, trust, and meaningful communication that goes well beyond simple obedience commands.

Many clients come to us seeking solutions for frustrating or concerning behaviors—what we see as symptoms. But these behaviors often reveal deeper underlying issues. Our training focuses on identifying and addressing the root causes, so you can experience lasting change and enjoy a calmer, more balanced life with your dog.
